As for picking a position and holding, Craigbad, some of us daytrade and will buy and sell this multiple times per day. That's a perfectly reasonable investment style considering how volatile and dirty the markets are.
This is a "hot" one. I would never hold long with all the problems here with the weak assets in comparison to huge debt.
