Next week we will pass the 78-day mark, i.e., 78 days since the date of filing. This is the average amount of time, roughly, that, based on previous cases, it takes to go from filing to deal announcement. Of course, some cases take more, as it seems CXR will, while others take less.
The lack of an announcement does not mean that the process is failing. It means that everyone is still working on it, because, anyone could end it in a heartbeat, by a simple filing, if they wanted. People should not be put off by the long silence, although it can be frustrating. You have to understand that these deals involve alot of paperwork and formalization, and that takes time. Moreover, the last two weeks were probably a write-off, with the holiday season and all.
I am guessing that before the end of this month, we will have something. I do not know whether it will be good or bad, but we will have something.
