DEAL WILL NOT HAPPEN
Reason being is that CXR is worth $100US and with the price being $24US,
Blackstone will offer something like $40US and MT will say NO.
MT will want at least $75US and if Blackstone does offer that, they
will be offering $75 for a stock that was $24 the same day.
Blackstone CEO will get FIRED if offer is too high.

I disagree. The equity is a small part of the capital structure. So Blackstone could easily afford paying over 100.

yeah but if Blackstone lowballs this deal will never get done. All the people in on this at above 40US aren't gonna vote for that as a purchase price. others will let this thing ride up on its own. Shorts can suck a sausage
