Whoever was able to pich up shares below C $35 today are happy - just shy of the open price now $37.80. I wish I had funds to buy today!

Since the preferred shares option is no longer on the table, the best option for cxr to continue along the growth path IS private equity route. MT will continue to be the CEO of cxr international. This is my opinion and why I continue to hold my shares.

The PF option is not gone. They just don't have card blanche. All this means is that when they have a concrete plan they will have to have a vote on it again. More likelihood to get that passed if the plan is specific and layed out for the shareholders.

So Select, just wondering what drugs you are on? There are no preferred shares currently in play on Concordia's Balance Sheet. They are being proposed as an option to be issued as required by management. Apparently, the proposal did not pass at the AGM but Stockcoach suggests that management could try again with a more specific use and conditions if need be. At present, we are all common ...more

Logic. MT wants to grow the company faster than organically possible. This is through product acquisitions to plug into the global platform they have built. Unfortunately, his hands are tied at this time for any 'significant acquisition due to debt, while manageable, market will not let it expand. PE investment will provide him with the capital to make this happen faster than debt pay down ...more
