$34 sucks

That's nothing to cheer about guys especially since no shorts are covering yet. Announcing results on Friday giving everyone a real chance to digest the data can be really good or really bad. If the shorts see anything they can spin into negative, even if it's not true, the SP will deteriorate and we will lose all our measly gains. There is only one way we know that this is for real, need new buyers as they want to buy on the way up and prefer picking up the stock high and be right rather than low and be wrong.  All the buyers are on the sidelines still. Let's hope that all the numbers were legit, no fancy accounting were used.  Once the tregectory of the share price starts to accelerate then the buyers will jump in fast.
We really need no news and I mean nothing at all for a few weeks, this is the perfect scenario where no news is good news.

I actually like this quarter and believe this could be a turning point. Be honest, results were so so and came in as expected. What impressed me is the conference call. During Q&A session, there were numerous anlayts from the US. This is new and major IMO. If these brokers put good words out on CXR, we could see some strong demand. Goldman has a huge following even though they suck at ...more

agreed, financials in absence of conference call does not do it justice. This is the first full quarter of the new company and already they are adding products not previously announced. This not a company that is thinking short term. As MT says, take care of business and the share price will respond.

Sunshine, I loved the fact that Mark refused to provide the names of the meds CXR purchased and launched, citing competitive reasons. That may be true but it also shuts down shorts and the likes of Cohodes and FT. If they don't know the product's names they can't track any price increases or fabricate stories. In addition it leaves everyone (including the analysts) guessing, about ...more

and the new products are not included in guidance. There may be more product acquisitions paid for by cash on hand before year end. The price that they paid seemed very reasonable.

Welcome new member since today. There is plenty of material to support your positive view of cxr if you are so inclined. May I suggest a listen to the earnings call while it is still available. Here is your answer: "The Company also announced today that subsequent to quarter end, it entered into an agreement to acquire the global rights to four generic products, for the treatment of anemia ...more

This was a "bash to buy" basher?    Bashed on one account (Select1011) then switch to this new account (NorthernCapital) to proclaim he bought on momentum?  Nice "job" there... The regulators are cracking down on these guys. Not a moment too soon from an investor perspective! Sunshine7, thanks for the intelligent postings here.  It's nice to see a ...more

Yes we need new buyers that can overlook the negative sentiment in the sector since all the ones like me that believe in Cxr are at their max allocation or weighting already. The shorts don't matter as they will not cover if there is no catalysts anytime soon unless a buyout materializes. Once new buyers start to initiate positions the shorts will jump on board and we will get a double ...more

I think the analysts liked the answer to the question "how did the numbers look on a constant currency basis?" The answer was "they came in a beat!"  I think Mark could've bragged on that more. Because it is important.

The shorts, although aggravating, have enabled many of us on this board to add and establish much larger positions .   CXR was like the Canadian dollar trading at .64 USD ....   I'd go to NYC and just look in the store windows .     We have all added largely and have to take advantage of situations like this.   Earning meeting expectations are fantastic.  They ...more

I have probably prepared more financial statements than you have ever read. Maybe you should carefully review all of the components that make up the difference between adjusted and unadjusted EPS. Until the GBP debt has been totally repaid, the impact of FX is mitigated. I'm not too concerned with what exactly are the drugs being acquired, as long as they fit in with the company's existing ...more

select, lettuce, etc....you're the only rabid dog, ....masquerading as NorthernCapital. For a guy that's never posted before you sure have a lot to say. If you're so familiar with the story, how come you didn't know the release date of the financials. If you bought this stock on Friday, because someone on BNN mentioned it, why would you be looking for financials the night before ...more

Northern Capital: What are you saying? The financial results are basically the same as those issued last quarter. IFRS Net Loss - The FMV of any asset is the NPV of all expected future discretionary cash flows available to the owner. I believe that Adjusted EPS is more relevant in predicting future cash flows than the IFRS-based EPS. This comment is based in part on my (and analysts') belief ...more
