Are there any bonafide investors here?  All I hear is short term trader talk.  Some of you seem to be 100% with CXR focus all day, everyday. It's hard to think that the full time crowd on CXR are true investors?  Most investors have jobs to support their families and can only be here evenings and weekends.  People who are here 24x7 and pretend to be investors are very ...more

Yes there are. Admittedly, I probably spend too much time (noon hour or late at night) on here. Rest of my portfolio is professionally managed. Not interested in short-term price action. My objectives will be met once the company is fairly valued. Not sure how long in monrhs or years it will take.

Some do work and post, some are paid by short houses to post and some are retired with lots of time to post. Don't judge by the amount of time posting. All you need to do is click on the history to find out who the real investors are and put the rest on ignore.

Hi looking, I am on here daily reading the various posts, maintain a full time job and family, etc. I try to post when I feel there is something to offer. I would suggest using the ignore feature on a few (I have at least 4 here so far) and it makes the discussion on CXR quite enjoyable and engaging. There are a number here that are very experience investors/traders with good insight and ...more

Looking4hits said"You have to pick solid companies that won't blind side you like CXR" ... To be fair, cxr ain't blindsiding anybody. They said what they said they will do and are doing it. The short attack is the problem AND the opportunity.

Read up on your accounting if you don't get why adjusted earnings is that much higher, then look at the statements.  They generated 4 times the cah they need for interest and can meet obligations.  They have alot of debt, but this isn't a debt story.  Debt stories are when people are worried about default.  alot of shorts share hypothetical scenarios that aren't ...more

Gee, I hope you aren't meating your girlfriend after this. Anyway, without checking the numbers, 30% debt obligation is nothing when the profit margins are 70%. This is another point where CXR exceeds their peers. Thanks for bringing that up.
Comment by nosoup4you on May 15, 2016 8:37pm
The earn -out payment in September will essentially deplete cash stores to the point where no meaninful pay down in debt will take place. This company will still be at 6X debt/ebitda when the year is out...disappointing.
Comment by fdfd12 on May 15, 2016 8:41pm
With that type of post, you really don't deserve any soup.
Comment by Lumberfeverlong on May 15, 2016 9:20pm
Hey Subshine, just to clarify further for our meaty friend, NorthernCapital, CXR is only spending approximately 50% of EBITDA to MEET its debt obligations. The rest is free cash that they can use for other purposes, including paying for tuck-in acquisitions as the one they just announced. Exceptionally, this year they have a significant earn out payment to make for the Amco acquisition (I believe ...more

You are saying they are to pay over $300 million in interest this year?  Is that correct?   Do you guys understand the bond market?  The bonds were not all issued at 10%.  No clue where your reddit buddy went to school.
Comment by looking4hits on May 15, 2016 9:29pm
"No clue where your reddit buddy went to school."   I would dare to guess from IUSS.EDU? "The Institute of Unscrupulous Short Selling"?  Thesis in "using social media to fool the market participants"? Graduated with honours.  "Top little person".

Humour is the best medicine!  That was very funny! If the short sellers weren't so annoying, I'd be feeling bad right now.  But really, they have been vicious here and on many other sector related stocks.   I'm still trying to find out how big the wolf pack is and if there are any stocks that are beyond hope to survice.  CXR is too strong at this point.  ...more

NorthernCapital you stupid dumfcuk. Meat is a slab of flesh you throw on a barbecue.  Meat is what Lettuce's Sir Loins are aching for.  Meat-head is what Archie Bunker would of called you.   If you don't even know the difference between your meat and meet how in the fcuk do you expect us to believe you can read financial statements.

Nothernselect says: "their debt is the slam for this stock and this type of accounting is what Valeant is criticized for. I'm not saying that the company is a sewer" ... #1 short talking point is debt because THEY are running out of ammo as we have now seen a full quarter results and an insight into the future. sunshine7, this appears to be someone that's been on your case for a while.  Don't respond to him. By resorting to gratuitous namecalling, that new account for this old basher is already on my ignore list and his account is a day old or so?  Incredible Stockhouse allows this.  It's to force people to have an account for ignores to rack up the membership to attract ...more

I think the shorts will try an attack tomorrow. I expect a quick drop followed by a ton of buying. I expect the short covering will start mid week. Expect a $43 dollar stock price in a coupe of weeks. Here are the drivers: 1) Shorts have lost control short term. People are starting to realize the model works. 2) The buy out is much more likely now. Postive quarter, more drugs in the pipeline and ...more

The real moves on this stock don't come until June and July.  That is when the major puts were bought for a possible buyout. i think 40-42 in the next two weeks seems right, just watch out for the shorts to jump back in at that time playing the Brexit card. in June we will have the tug of war around 42 dollars on the buy out, great ER (and bright future) vs. the last hand to be played ...more

Agree with your thoughts. I am also expecting a quick drop early (perhaps an op to buy a few more) followed by strength the rest of the week. I also agree that this can move very quickly. I really would prefer a slow steady growth period which can avoid the radical dips. The unknown is the path upwards in today's lemming mentality markets but the known is the destination which is substantially ...more
