would love to see MT halt the stock on monday when Canada is open and announce a deal while the U.S. markets are closed.  Would definately squeeze Cohodes cohones!  Just dreamin'

i wonder if a deal is back on the table now that the fda raved about photophrin and its capabilities....gottawa wonder, and with close to 60 new drugs rolling out soon, you really gotta wonder if a deal may be back on either now or after the q2 financials.....this is starting to look like a cash cow

Just hold it or buy more of it on the fundamentals. At this point, I've put aside the idea that a buyout will occur but it's not impossible. With every good new development, like the most recent one, Concordia will gain value and be back on the market's radar. Shorts will cover eventually because their checklist of possible negative outcomes is getting more blank by the month. Like ...more

CN: I think your bang on, and this is the way I see it as well.  Now that PE have been in to see CXRs books at a detailed level they can afford to wait with this depressed stock price. After next quarter results they will update CXR model and then start to do some serious thinking as they continue to derisk the play. Only chance of a buyout soon is if they feel confident in meeting 2016 ...more

A PE firm would rather not wait for validation from CXR as to their true worth , they would rather pay as least as possible and MT would not fight them on it as it leaves slit more room for perks and insentives on the other side. If a buyout was to occure , it has to happen soon before SP rises so that it could look attractive to shareholders , otherwise it will be much later in my opinion .
