Concordia Healthcare Corp. > What the market is saying

What the market is saying

Market is saying that
1) Donnatel may get pulled of the shelf and 7% revenue and profits will be lost.
2) They not only will not be able to raise prices but might have to drop once gov't get involved.
3) Hillary will win the election
4) Will guide down BIG on Aug 12

For these reasons, they may not be able to pay off their debt.
Also, they may not be able to sell assets at a price to ease the debt and avoid bankruptcy.

There is 50-75% chance at $0.

PS: even if they guide from $6.50US to $3.00US, this stock is still trading at less than a 5PE.
That is not the issue here. It is survival. Can they get enough profits to pay off their debt despite
their PE?????

None of this news is new.  This does not explain why we are witnessing a drop of -18% today.

Yes it isn't new, but now the market is seeing that all those things might come true and bankruptcy may happen.
Comment by cavinsin on Aug 02, 2016 1:34pm
to all shorts, no chance of bankruptcy, you all are dreaming, and wishfull thinking

So fdfd12 still pretending to be a former long holder of CXR now says sold all his shares and keeps mentioning the B word on this board as a concerned fellow investor. Man, the shorts are scamming this board and the stock from so many angles or you just so stupid you contribute to damaging this name or just plain stupid?
Comment by fdfd12 on Aug 02, 2016 2:13pm
fdfd12 is NOT a fromer long holder. He is STILL a small position holder. Despite <$25 SELL recomendation, I still have a small position and hoping. NOT SHORT.

I wonder about the level of stock buybacks, in next report, given their wonderful cashflow.

What about the great cashflow I keep hearing about? no better way to increase eps ;) They can be up there with the best of Q2 earnings, except the may still not meet expectation...
Comment by adamchess on Aug 02, 2016 3:16pm
It seems unreasonable to expect to meet pre-brexit guidance but they should have an unrealized FX profit on translation of long-term debt which does not affect cashflow obviously. In the short term revenues will be affected by the translation of UK money to US on the FSs even though they will be used to pay down UK money debts as a full trade-off. It seems not meeting guidance after Brexit was ...more

Achess: I have a small long position but this stock has to prove it's worth. Management left themselves exposed to short sellerstories and are failing. On the plus side, over the next 9 months. It's no where near bankrupt, debt will continue to go down, MT will be gone, and after this flush, weak longs will be replaced by weak shorts. I feel I made a timing mistake, not a value mistake ...more

Really Lattice? Not sure why you care about fdfd12. It seems he can look after himself and doesn't need some nasty women short-trading basher to stand up for him. Not sure why you continue to bash this name from all sides including all your IDs on SH to writing and distributing your bogus articles of half truths for phony business news sites but all the same much congrats on your results. Its ...more

For Cohodes and you (maybe you are one) this will be another DataAccessSystems...being greedy on a short is no different than pigs that get slaughtered long,  remember that one Marc !
Comment by CNInvesting on Aug 02, 2016 3:33pm
Actually the sheeps get slaughtered and you're one right now.
Comment by adamchess on Aug 02, 2016 3:27pm
That is funny Lattice. Let me see if they teach that in my CPA magazine I receive as a member? You have written so many stories (lies?) about CXR that your head must be spinning. I'm sorry I can not wish you the same. It is interesting that you make these research and garbage stories and posts your full time job. When is your next day off?
Comment by Marwood on Aug 02, 2016 3:40pm
Roller07, speaking of conspiracy theories, your losses only add up to roughly 1.3 of your portfolio, according to info you provided. Haven't heard from you in a bit! You sounded bummed a couple days ago. Check in, let us know you're ok! Seriously.

What the market is saying is that there is little liquidity in the summer and short sellers are using their friends at Business Insider to panic retail investors to sell so they can cover before earnings come out.  Fear and distortion will do that...   Business Insider ,  run by Henry Blodgett ,  kicked out of the securities industry for life,  hand out to his ...more

Yes Becky, you are the BOSS. Little Liquidity in the summer. CXR has traded 1.7M in Canada and 1.2M in US. Little liquitity right.

He's actually right on the liquidity thing, but strictly for CXR. Market liquidity is high but not CXR. In this case liquidity is how much prices are affected by market's trades. If you can sell rapidly and the price doesn't fluctuate that much, it's highly liquid. In the case of CXR, it's not the case, as shown by the -15% today. What's high today is volume but there can ...more

THIS IS NOIT RETAIL SELLING...Somepne is getting sold out due to margin calls and shorts win. SP should slowly rebound if I am right.
Comment by CookieMonster on Aug 02, 2016 3:05pm
Maybe MT got a margin call?
