Oakville - show some leadership please provide an update

Impossible to speak to anyone at head office in Oakville - there is a bunker mentality.  Not a good strategy IMHO.  Yes there have been a series of unfortunate events Brexit, Hillary campaign, FDA renewed interest in Donnatal and generic competition for Nilandron, but these are beyond company control.

Time to show some genuine leadership and issue an update.

They did issue two updates before their earnings release. If you read them and think another one would help, you are probably beyond help. That is part of the problem, if you read the releases you would think business was great, brexit has very little impact and generics are having no real impact on their business. It was clear to anyone who dug into the numbers things weren't as they were

Dont you think with the release of the CFO every bit of bad news was thrown into the last quarter?  (OK half a billion is a lot of bad news) I would not be short CXR at this point  (10 bucks and change).

Tx lattice-i-e - I will look it up.  I didn't know Brit NHS inventory was in the public domain. The difference between concordia and bobilis was I could see bobilis coming!  The direct to patient marketing and the clearly laser "miracle" cure.  I do a lot of pain management and have had their promotional literature dropped off by desperate patients at the office.

Latice,  Third-party pharmaceutical data base called Medi-Span indicates what generics are up in the cue from the fda.  I'm not sure if you get your information from that site.  When management said the new generics on the scene were "unexpected" I almost spit out my coffee.   Maybe I should suggest that he purchase a subscription to Medi-Span before Q3 ?

I email them every other day telling them to get Mark Thompson to resign, too late for this management team to get their act together. All there doing is keeping the share price down. I recommend everyone email them demanding his resignation

Emerson...I like you write them every day...People who have been calling...They do answer but you have to keep trying....The operators name is Raphaella...really nice person and she is the one who gets the emails and forwards them to the people who you want them to receive....

I am no fan of CEO Mark Thompson, but they have done about as much as they can do to date from what I can tell: 1)  CXR provided an update on August 3, which reads in part: "We remain highly confident in our business prospects going forward," said Concordia Chairman and CEO Mark Thompson. "

Your comment is a good one and I agree with it. That is why I think the Board has to ask Mark Thompson to resign as Chairman and CEO if no takeout deal is cut this month...... Regarding my previous post: I was simply making the point that there is not much more CXR can say at this point given they are apparently in a blackout period due to their strategic review.......If the company is sold this
