Do any owners here know how much the real assets are worth?

Quiz for any owners.

Do you know the value of your assets? In the books and in the market place?

The jet for example? How much is that listed for in the books and what is the market price for it today? Minus the "dirty" seats of course.

Shorty!  That question was for longs!  Now you spoiled the fun!  They don't own the jet!  Ahhhhhhhh Too bad investors don't know how to separate goodwill and soft assets from revenue producing assets? $1B in goodwill and only 9% in real asset.  This is "snort and distort"? ZAM!   But by when?

WSJ shows their tangible book value per share at a whopping -98.88 The tangible-asset value is calculated by taking total shareholders' equity and subtracting all "soft" assets such as goodwill and other intangibles, then dividing this by total number of shares outstanding.

I closed my position several weeks ago at $9.32 taking a huge loss. It took a while but reality finally sank in that CXR shares were garbage and the CEO was incompetent only looking to enrich himself and his pals. The scary and expensive lesson I learned is how easy it is to become convinced, or maybe suckered is a better word, that a story like Concordia is real, and once you believe it, how ...more
