Tangible Book Value -$98.88 per share - Not a joke!

Some people questioned me about this, please check for yourself Wall Street Journal Financials on CXR

The URL is here https://quotes.wsj.com/CA/CXR/financials

Someone would have to go after WSJ if they don't agree with these numbers.

Clearly shows a tangible book value of -$98.88 dollars per share. Someone else posted this and I had a hard time trusting it but I checked myself.

Net income growth percentage is something I have never seen before Net Income Growth -107641.54%

I'm not sure what all you traders are chasing but it's not good. Let me know on what basis you built your bullish thesis because I only see one negative after another.

smallshort, Let's agree to disagree on the cherry picking from WSJ. As for the tangible book value, that is used when a company is going bankrupt and can be used to look at what common shareholders can expect. Did I miss something, did CXR file for CCAC? I think not! I would prefer to use what is generally the more accepted book value which is the balance sheet book value. Again, we will ...more

ok2buy, let's agree to disagree.   I've seen many companies in a "spiral of death" and death for common shareholders is bankruptcy proceedings.  Normally shareholders get very little but it all depends on the tangible assets.  In this case, you are guaranteed zero for common shares. In this case, I really want to locate the document that discusses what ...more
