RE:IMAX & Cineplex Adding Canada’s first IMAX VR Centre...

RE:IMAX & Cineplex Adding Canada’s first IMAX VR Centre... IMAX has two VR Centres open now (Los Angeles and New York) and they both have 3 D-Box seats to accomodate seated VR experiences. I suspect Toronto's VR Centre will be set up the same way. I personally am really looking forward to visiting the Toronto Scotia Bank Theatre location when it opens. It will be right inside the entrance off Richmond street and there is a large university student population nearby so it will likely draw alot of attention and interest from them. IMAX has plans to open about 10 VR centres around the world over the next several months. They are still in an evaluation phase but early results have exceeded their expectations. If the VR Arcade concept goes global in a significant way IMAX might want to sign some sort of exclusivity deal with D-Box before a competitor does!
