RE:D-BOX VR Cinematic Experience At Cineplex's

RE:D-BOX VR Cinematic Experience At Cineplex'sThis Ottawa announcment is very interesting because it is a Cineplex and D-Box only VR experiment involving 10 D-Box seats. The Cineplex and IMAX VR Centre scheduled to open this fall in Toronto should have at least 3 D-box seats as well.

It seems like Cineplex is looking to see if maybe they can make a serious attempt to be a player in the VR theatre niche without partnering and sharing revenues with IMAX. If the pilot is successful, Cineplex could roll their own VR Centres out across their entire chain. If they do that they might just decide to make a bid to buy D-Box which could start a nice bidding war between Cineplex and IMAX and a miriad of other potential suitors :-)

Go D-Box!!
