RE:RE:Justice League VR in D-Box seats at Scotia IMAX VR

RE:RE:Justice League VR in D-Box seats at Scotia IMAX VRSilentreader: Thanks. Yeah, as your VR Rabbids "The Big Ride" post and my post seem to indicate we are at early stages of a potentially very big (i.e. Global) VR entertainment market that D-Box is fully engaged in. To answer your question, The Justice League experience lasted 10 mins and was $12. In my opinion this is way too pricey especially if I was dishing out the money for 2 or 3 kids to try it. However, they said they will soon be offering "Multi-tickets" so you can get like 3 differnt 10 - 15 minute experiences for a discounted price. They are already doing this at their L.A. and New York locations. There are currently 5 IMAX VR Centres open globally: L.A, New York, Shanghai, Manchester and Toronto. I believe the plan is to open 5 more globally over the next few months as part of their "Proof of concept" each one will likely have the same 4 D-Box seats. The attendant I spoke to in Toronto said the D-Box seated rides will likely always feature whatever the latest big box office movie is... so soon they will be switching it over to Star Wars I guess. :-) It will be interesting to see what the first "D-Box" VR Centre in Ottawa offers and at what price. I'm hoping it will be a bit less costly price wise. I know they are supposed to have 10 D-Box seats but I don't know if they will also be featuring the latest movie experiences. This Justice Leage VR experience at IMAX VR Centre says it is IMAX "Exclusive". So maybe this will change for Star Wars and future movie titles...
