RE:Star Wars: The Last Jedi is Box Office Smash!

RE:Star Wars: The Last Jedi is Box Office Smash!99% of all Cineplex seats available for the weekend were sold out, which means that over 34 000 seats were sold.

Cinemark was sold out at least 85% last time I checked yesterday morning.

As I posted Friday- D-Box will get 400K$-500K$ of royalty revenue for this first weekend.

The highest average usage revenue per screen ever achieved was in Q3 FY2106 when Force Awaken played along with Hunger Games which was not a good fit for D-Box seats.  With Thor, Justice League, Coco and Last Jedi playing this quarter, they will most certainly establish a new average per screen usage revenue record, which means royalty revenue for the quarter will be at least 2,5M$.

Blue skies ahead.
