Should IMAX & D-BOX get together?

Should IMAX & D-BOX get together?I think the combination of the premium IMAX visuals and sound along with D-Box motion seats is just the right amount of immersive effects for the broadest range of special effects movies. 4DX seems over the top, too distracting, too expensive and only suitable for a handful of multi sensory type movies. Just my opinion of course.

However it does seem.as though IMAX and D-Box are 2 Canadian companies that could really benefit each other. They both have a global presence too. They could eventually even start their own subscription based streaming service with exclusive motion coded movies that require a low cost home version of the D-Box seat. This way they can meet the needs of consumers who want it all in the comfort of their home as well as those who still prefer the social experience of the big theatre.

Every seat in an imax theatre should be a D-Box seat. One ticket price for every seat. If you don’t want the motion you can turn it off or set it on low but you still pay the same price. Of course they may want to drop the D-Box Branding and simply  call the whole new combined experience IMAX 2.0

Thoughts?  :)
