Cineplex D-Box seats selling out for Tenet Of course with Covid spacing requirements there are fewer seats of all kinds available for purchase now but it looks clear that the D-Box seats are selling first. I stopped in at a cineplex theatre today to check advance ticket sales for D-Box seats for Wednesday’s release of Tenet and the seats are already selling out. I’m thinking the same scenario will play out across the globe as more D-Box theatres begin to open. If I were a theatre operator right now I’d be wishing all my seats were D-Box seats (for the premium). Unfortunately roughly half the D-Box seats have to be roped off for spacing as well but hopefully things will get back to normal before the big Christmas holiday blockbuster season begins.
