What a difference a few hours make... guess the news didnt shock enough... for a pullback for the entire day.. LOL

Not out of the woods just yet. Don't like seeing the 10 year closing in on October's high of 4.98%. The market is pricing in higher rates and that will pressure indices again. Could all be a headfake but I am comfortable clearing my chips from the table with a quick gain and going back to the sidelines.

No , but election year and minions in govt want stocks going north, not crashing.. This from Reuters   Prices have remained sticky, with the data on Thursday also showing the personal consumption expenditures price index over the first quarter rising at a 3.4% annual rate versus the Fed's 2% target. Investors and analysts at first blush put more weight on the high inflation figure ...more

Hope does spring eternal.  I do and did have tech holdings, however lightened that load and glad I did.  Funny to watch the dip buying.  In the tech world the market seems to have wanted more from earnings. NFLX got sold down, now Meta, however the sellers all ran to NVDA today and this is the only reason the Nas recovered.   Somehow I don't think the recent overall ...more
