Beware of overnight offerings

Suddenly a huge premium to nav means there could be a overnight offering.

It's tempting to sell but trying to time it could ultimately leave you behind. LBS did their offering and has since bounced back up above that price.

Both SBC and LBS had overnight offerings in the past few months when premiums reached 10-11%. I was thinking the exact same thing about DGS.

Yes ,  an offering could very well be in the works. Not sure how easy it wold be to sell, but it has been a long time since Brompton raised some funds for DGS... has to be over 3 years ago... Anything is possible but doing an overnight offering on the first distribution after 13 months would scream greed. I would hope they do it at a higher valuation and with the distribution more stable.

Exceptionally high volume today.  If it continues to trade a premium ex distribtution, i expect they will entertain a financing. Financings are always done at a premium, so that they are not dilutive to NAV.  Its good for everyone, except those that just got in at he premium. LBS had only two distributions (after restarting) under it's belt before Brompton did an overnight offering on Jan 19th 2021.
