Is there a prize for being the first to announce something?  Why did participants announce DGS would 'NOT' be paying a dividend prior to Brompton announcing their decision.  Interesting to speculate and make forecasts but disturbing to spread false information as news.

I do not think anyone who posted was trying to spread false information I for one have other Brompton holding . They sent me my monthly email listing  distribution for all thier funds. DGS was not listed as paying. Since they listed the NAV on thier site a 5.09 for the commons I assumed as probably others that they were 01C short so no pay. I have not idea why they changed thier mind.

I mentioned  yesterday that it would likely give a dividend.. I mentioned that if it was hire than $15. Class A and B  oombined.. After close was $15.11    So dont listen to these morrons who have no idea.. Just Google DGS preffered and it will tell you there stock price and Look and DGS A and look at that price. Add together.. If next week is positive in the market, I will indeed be the fool.  I sold all my dgs last week,  and 35% of my bk.  I believe there will be better reentry the next few days as the fed meets a d spooks the markets.

This month the UNIT NAV WAS $15.12 , SO DGS COMMONS GOT PAID ,  as the UNIT NAV was $15,02 after distributions to commons. Agreed.  Brompton left dgs off the announcement list, and they bent their own rules adding the dividends after today's close.  I've never seen them do it before. Now we all know a new trick. I call it a squeaker.

They didn't change their minds, they flat out made a mistake! There policy says the TOTAL NAV (1 Pref share plus 1 Class A share combined) must not drop below $15 after taking into account distributions made. Total NAV after close on Friday was $5.09 + 10.08 = $15.17 making Class A distributions possible. NOTE:If this were a month wher Preference shares also get a quarterly distribution (such

No one I read here is spreading false info. It was borderline and as of the morning of the 22nd Brompton announced distributions and DGS was not included.
