Unable to Short
I just tried to short 10K shares and my broker declined the order saying shorting on DGS currently not allowed. NAV as of closing yesterday was just posted on Brompton's site as $4.71.

Are you able to short DFN with it's climbing premium in a declining market?

Not yet filled but I have sell orders in to sell 20K DGS and 10K DFN short today.

Filled on SHORT of DGS @ average $5.915. Ended up chasing DFN SHORT but filled at $7.06.

Shorting dgs should pay off for you, but dfn is very resilient. People will buy DFN even when it misses , but right now it's not missing yet.

John, I'm interested to know if you took the loss on the short, or do you expect dgs and dfn to go back down?

Closed my short of 15K shares DFN today for a small profit. Have also closed half my short of 20K shares DGS for a small profit. Will close the rest of the DGS before market close, even if I have to place a market order (have only ever done a market order once in my life).
