"When we get the project back"

I am hearing a great deal of enthusiasm by other shareholders in regard to Star Diamond getting the project back officially in the next 2 or so months.  *********************************************************************************************.  For the life of me, I cannot figure out their reasoning.  *********************************************************************************************.  Some of the crazy shareprice predictions are simply mind blowing.  I have heard some predicting 50 cents!  There apparent logic comes kind of as follows:  we were at 30 cents when we had 25% so when we get 100% we will easily be many multiples higher.  *********************************************************************************************.  These investors are desperate otherwise their logic should be telling them that we traded at 30 cents on the potential of being in bed with a major mining partner with deep pockets----that could actually mine the damn deposit. Currently we have very little money---are not wanting a mining partner---and are wooing the market with potential "tricks up our sleeves".  *********************************************************************************************.  There's way more risk today than any other time over the last 20 yrs!  *********************************************************************************************.  I would argue this sp goes nowhere until a mine is announce and a rock solid plan for mining it/funding it etc.  IE  many yrs of 7 to 10 cents.  *********************************************************************************************.  To summarize:  the SP goes nowhere when Star gets it back 100%.  It goes nowhere when the reserves are updated.  It goes nowhere when the BFS is completed.  *********************************************************************************************.   Wish it weren't true but IMO it is.  *********************************************************************************************.  FRANK.

Frank, have you considered that with 100% ownership, we become more attractive to other large suiters?
Comment by stockstarker on Feb 01, 2024 10:12am
Frank use to be a big promoter of DIAM and he was totally wrong and now he is on the other side he maybe totally wrong again.

Let's not forget the Diamonds are still there! There is a reason why  RIO wanted to exercise all their options to get full control of the project a few years back.
Comment by explman on Feb 01, 2024 2:33pm
What other large suitors are you thinking about?
Comment by NorthOntKid on Feb 02, 2024 8:15am
De Beers for one. RIO isn't the only Diamond Company in the world
Comment by explman on Feb 03, 2024 1:39pm
Havent they already been there, done that??
Comment by NorthOntKid on Feb 05, 2024 8:02am
Yup, but now we have New Management, a Plant, a Bauer Rig and a lot more Data to prove up the numbers.

I wont hold my breath......

I wish you and MagillaGorilla would hold you breath, like forever. Maybe it would stop your Troll postings.
Comment by seaducked on Feb 06, 2024 5:35pm
Nope there are about 10 large enough to tackle this...get a deal done and sell it.
Comment by FRANKtheTANK on Feb 06, 2024 7:54pm
Please name the 10.  *********************************************************************************************.  And don't name the ones that have already opted out for God's sake.  *********************************************************************************************.  And don't say Elon Musk or the prince of Saudi Arabia or Scott Moe or JSCN. ********** ...more

Still trying to come up with your list? Looking forward to seeing your ten.

Sorry wasn't on here for a bit: I would sell my shares to any of these for....$1 for sure!  De Beers. ALROSA. Rio-Tinto Diamonds. Debswana Diamond Company, Ltd. Dominion Diamond Corporation. Lucara. Petra Diamonds. Gem Diamonds. Angelo American  Rockwell Diamonds
Comment by FRANKtheTANK on Feb 16, 2024 11:02am
So would I!!!  *********************************************************************************************.  But, that could only happen in a Cheech & Chong 70's B movie.  *********************************************************************************************.  Sorry but your list is fairy tale calibre.  ***************************************************** ...more

So you think paying half a billion for Star is reasonable. Lets look at your pathetic list shall we. Debeers - been there, done that. Not interested. ALROSA - you think ALROSA would be allowed to buy an asset in Canada. World events 101.... RT - what can I say, they just left. What part of that dont you understand? Dominion - dont exist any more. You do have your finger on the pulse dont you ...more

When we get the project back our friends RIO will be given a 20% shareholding so will still be hanging around our necks like a bad smell.
Comment by NorthOntKid on Feb 02, 2024 8:22am
But RIO won't be running the show anymore. Hold your nose,  the smell willeventually go away.
Comment by seaducked on Feb 06, 2024 5:32pm
Simple answer is Star needs to sell it, all of it, take the $1 for shareholders. At this point it might be 50c. This thing keeps getting worse and worse. But again...I'm in for the long haul, no point in selling now may as well wait it out once again another 10 years...do we have a choice...no!
