CIBC Upgrade Again

It was only 3 weeks ago that they raised their target to $15.50. Yesterday, they released a report entitled: "Executing On Growth Initiatives" and bumped their target by another buck to $16.50. GLTA

Thanks. Owned this for 2 years What a great investment this is turning out to be. Long term hold. Executing well and poised for more growth in the sweet spot of the reit market.

This is one of our most surprising holdings. I'm quite amazed that it just seems to keep going up even after they've done a few sets of stock issuances in the last couple years. We originally got in at $8.60 in Sept, 2013 and have been adding along the way. Ciao   Sarge

Industrial real estate has done well as a whole in the last few years. I can speak for the Canadian commercial real estate market and the majority is not publically listed. Depending on the city (this can be expensive) with the most recent transaction that Artis did in the GTA sold at a sub 3 cap.  Dream Industrials new direction appears to be Europe at a higher than GTA cap rate with debt ...more

Hey Sarge! We got into DIR.UN during mid 2013 at a purchase cost of $9.29 (and since it is held in a non-registered acct the ACB has reduced to $7.23 over the years due to annual RoC payments). The really interesting aspect of this REIT is that it demonstrates the value of having a strategy and sticking to it (i.e., buy and hold in your and our case) cuz the unit price languished and often went ...more
