Those factors have existed for the past 3-4 years and the future is likely to contain other uncertainties.

 If not equities, what else can generate decent yields ?

Remember, a 7 % growth by China in 2012 will add more demand than a 12 % growth in 2007 simply because the GDP is that much bigger now and the rapidly middle classes of the BRICS will have similar impacts on demand.

This is the  essence of Goldmans predictions and is clearly shown in their decade chart.
