How does BMO purchase of AM affect DIV?

Can anyone calrify this?
I assume that DIV will continue to receive their Royalty Payments from Airmiles since they own the trademark?   I think the stock price drop is unwarranted and this could be a great buying opportunity.  Under BMOs ownership, AIR MILES will no longer have to worry about their struggling parent company Loyalty Ventures.

Perhaps DIV should put out their own press release clarifying how this affects their royalty payments from Air Miles?

Financial results for all other royalties are impressive and with Air Miles under BMO should do very well going forward assuming DIV continues to be entitled to the royalty payments under BMOs ownership.

Thoughts welcome .

Cheers!

They did put out a press release but didn't specifically clarify that point which was odd. BMO would have to make the royalty payments or buy out DIV's trademark ownership imo
