RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:BlindsideCould this be a compliance issue?
Shelf life determined by a Health Canada/ Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) limit as part of a licence contract? If this is true then FIFO (First In, First Out) would apply to always be rotating your completed on-hand ready-for-retail supplies.
If there was an issue in the processing/packaging that MIGHT create a question of storage integrity then strength of product needig to be dumped wouldn't matter.
Bought more DN at $0.56. Thank you to the seller.
I have been in the food processing industry for over 25 years and it still bugs me to witness a 55 foot trailer loaded with food heading to the garbage dump because of a paperwork issue.
When I was at a brewery we would just dump it on the floor. That was sad!
CFIA regulations require paperwork for EVERY step from planting to final delivery. That's a lot of steps and even worse if it is for export as then the Yankee's get a say in the process too.
