I do not want to dispute Yahoo's numbers but they are understaded.
They only take the TSX trading volumes.I pay for a chart services and it also takes
TSX volumes only.
Total volume on average are about 35% greater then what is posted on the TSX.
DRX trades on many other platforms then the TSX.
I went back and did the calculation for your period of Dec. to last friday.
For 2 1/2 months the volumes on the TSX is 3,251,710 shares.
By increasing it by 35% we get to 4,389,809.
The float is a tricky one.Last month i had about the same number as you.
But recently there are new institutionnal investors.
My float numbers were 15,775,398.
So in the past 2 and a half month alone DRX as traded 28% of it's float.
Yes, in only 2 and a half month.
