08:15 AM EDT, 06/11/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Descartes Systems Group (DSG.TO) on Thursday said it agreed to acquire U.K.-based Cracking Logistics for C$12 million to add its digital logistics services.
The company said the acquisition will add Cracking Logistics' software offerings to its own logistics management offerings,
Descartes said that C$6 million of the C$12 million cost for the company will be paid immediately, with the remainder paid out over the next two years,
Descartes shares closed up C$0.86 to C$67.86 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
