RE:Oil rises above $80While there is certainly much renewed optimism in Alberta's oil patch we have to be cautious about the future. Other reports forecast the US will be net exporters of oil and gas within 5 years, one of Trump's mandates was to have US dominence in energy.
Regarding E, as oil prices continue to rally and oil exploration grows there will be more pressure on them to perform, another fail and it could be strike three! Remember E's reputation as being able to successfully grow acquired business and maintin margins has a very questionable past.
