Hmmmm
Price and volume are both down, can we assume TD is done either dumping or pumping? Regardless this isn't a good sign. We have been told E is an oil play, oil prices are up. Assuming E has the potential some believe it has shouldn't we be seeing a stronger rally? It is likely E has more value on an orderly liquidation, that is what management has been telling shareholders for years, "we do not believe the current stock price accurately reflects E's real value. This story has been told for years with no meaningful increase in valuation. How can this be? No faith in a recovery of Alberta's oil industry, no faith that management can deliver? That is up to investors to decide

oil price dropped, but E price stable. I am waiting for the result of this quarter, before adding more.

E is indeed very stable it started 2021 at .22 closed today at .24. WTI started the year at about 47.50 and closed today at 72.39 with inventories lower than expected. If E has the assets needed by the oil industry wouldnt we expect a closer correlation in price volatility.

wti is dropping recently. Don't know if it is finding new recent low. Hopefully, it stabilize at a price profitable for gradual expansion without too much competition. However, the situation with opec is too fragile. (Sigh)

It does not track oil price immediately, but it some how catch up in spikes, it slowly follows the valleys too.

E has also led oil in significant declines. in 2014 oil was still soaring yet E started a massive decline months before oil.

really. GEI did the same and so does others. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/daneberhart/2021/06/23/oilfield-service-firms-still-waiting-to-see-benefits-of-higher-prices/amp/ The service companies are still slow.

E and GEI are indeed very close. GEI highest price was about 36.50, lowest 13.50. E 3.50 was its highest and lowest 0.14 (remember the consolidation that added blue for shareholders). we can all determine the volatility and using indicators to make our investment decisions.
