$1.9 million for the year.

It is not that 2021 is important. It is 2022. Do you have any estimate?
Comment by Stuckinsand on Feb 10, 2022 1:36pm
We all remember that old adage "fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me". For years most investors believe Enterprises management has over promissed and under delivered. 2021 is very important to reestablish some credibility. Seriously will any existing or potential investor pay a premium solely based on what 2022 might be! For years in managements opinion their specialized ...more

Do I have an estimate of 2022 bottom line? No. Could I estimate liquidation value of the company? Yes. You wouldn't like the answer. You really believe 2021 isn't important? I suppose their loss for 2021 isn't important if you look at the accumulated losses of $53 million on their balance sheet. There's a pretty obvious 15-year trend line. I don't think a sophisticated ...more

Management owns 33% of the company and have been milking from it, with hefty salaries, that being a historical fact. Do you think that they want the company to turnaround? It depends on how much is offered to get rid of them. Probably, the other investors have a much lower price tag for getting rid of them. If you were right, the management should know that they can only get so much from this cow ...more

Why and how did management end up owing 33%? Did no one else want the shares and they were propping up the value? Do we know when Mr Nilsson started accumulating shares? Was he viewed as a threat by management long before the public knew about him?

i pray for a takeover, i first got in at $1.50 when i was stupid enough to listen to the talking heads on BNN, luckily(???) i bought more in the downturn and now at 41cents

Here's a little wrinkle with a takeover. Recall my earlier accusation of management entrenchment... Len (CEO), Warren (CFO), and Des (VP of something) have change of control clauses in their employment contracts and would receive $2.6 million, $0.8 million and $0.7 million respectively. So, an extra $4.1 million on top of today's market cap of $18 million is required if E is taken out ...more

Interesting with all the knowledge and due diligence McNallie does before pumping a stock this key item was missed. Anyone can put a hat on backwards and call themselves an investment expert.

Thanks for the findings.

Can someone further define what a change of control is? Those management are already reporting to the board. By adding new members in the board, is it a change of control?
Comment by foundalpha on Feb 17, 2022 10:08am
Adding new board members isn't a change of control. A buyout of the corporation, a merger with a larger organization, or a go-private transaction are each considered a change of control.

Just read their NR and f/s this morning. So, Enterprise lost half a million bucks more than what I expected. I'll post in the coming days/weeks about my estimate for Q1 bottom line, which will be better than Q4/21. However, I can already tell you they'll give it all back in Q2. Nozzpack: I encourage you to defrain from inflamatory name-calling and personal attacks. You accuse stuckinsand ...more

So you had been expecting that they would have 0.5 million of profit in Q4. Your expectations were higher than mine and most of the bulls here. They are just turning around. With a little bit of profit is a great indication of that things turning around, unless Q4 is typically the strongest quarter of the year. A lot of the recently announced positive factors have not been there to enhance Q4, but ...more

Well... I padded my true thoughts as to how they'd actually do in Q4/21.  JCDub, you raised a question about typical strength of quarterly results (it was a question, wasn't it?). This is the strength of bottom-line quarterly results for every Canadian service company: Q1, Q4, Q3, Q2. One can spend time looking backwards as to how Enterprise performed on a quarterly basis. I've ...more
