Bought more today

I bought a bunch more today at $2.35.  Maybe I'm misunderstanding something but share price is now roughly 25% below what Skyline paid for a chunk of their shares. It's also roughly 10% below what Steven Hudson paid when he bought 200,000 shares on the open market.  But share price keeps falling. What gives?

I agree... and bought today as well.

If people with much greater industry knowledge are buying , it might be smart to average a little...... but maybe by waiting I can average down more?

who knows what is driving the price down.  could be small retail investors throwing in the towel, could be bigger institutional investor slowly liquidating their position.  if i put my tinfoil hat on i could also make a case for Skyline trying to drive the price lower in order to increase their ownership stake at a price lower than $3.05.  Not saying this is happening, but i've ...more

I think your overall thoughts are pretty spot on. I have not bought any more recently because of the lack of catalyst you speak of & the overall market is more likely to head down than up from here. It would seem like this is a 2024 story so the stock price might head a little lower for a while but at sometime it will turn. This is a very good business & it looks like they have figured out ...more

i'm holding but not adding.  Hudson and crew have made me some good money in the past so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt.  Skyline has done their due diligence and knows what they are getting.  ECN will get taken out at some point, whether that's at lower prices or higher prices who knows

Hudson purchased 250,000 shares today. That's 450,000 shares purchased by Hudson in just 5 weeks. That's roughly $1.1M dollars of his own money.  I'm following Hudson's lead and have been purchasing as well at these levels.

volume today is low.  Doesn't look like anybody is desperate to bid the price up.  Hudson can't move the needle all on his own :)

Hudson reported purchasing another 250,000 shares. That's 700,000 shares he has purchased on the open market at a total cost of $1.72M.  Those are breathtaking numbers.

For you and I, sure that's a lot of coin.  But when you look at total shares outstanding it's a drop in the ocean.  Where are all the other executives and insiders?  Why aren't they loading up on shares too?  I'm thinking how much lower the price would be if Hudson wasn't buying LOL.  The share price will turn one day but I think we are at the " ...more

That said the market is poo poo right now and the Fed threatening to raise rates higher for longer is causing a bit of a pulback on almost everything.  Personally i've never been much of a fixed income guy but i've locked in some 6% FI lately.  So in the context of all this going on ECN has it's work cut out for it to garner invester attention
