Even more painful is the notion that both products (PMX and CRRTs) could have been useful in the war on Covid (due to increased incidence of Sepsis and AKI).
Remains to be seen if Covid will be defeated in NA post 2021.
But's its clear Sepsis and AKI will, in the future, be at least as prevelent as it was pre-Covid. Stats will likely show that acute and chronic kidney injury is on the rise as a result of the lasting damage done by Covid in 2020 - 2021.
