RE:Comparable results and mines?Too little data to guess at average grades. Note that the statement says: "Some of the selected best intercepts include..." Certainly some thick intercepts at grades upwards of 6g/t amongst those best ones, but impossible to guess at averages. We'll have to wait until the maiden resource estimate in Q4.
Regarding oz p.a... firstly it's important to note that Ity is only 55% Endeavour owned. On a 100% basis, the current Ity heap leach operation produces 65-75koz p.a. A DFS for an additional CIL operation, currently expected to produce 120koz p.a. is well underway (but I see from the release that the DFS has been pushed back from Q3 to Q4). This discovery has the potential increase production of both the heap leach and potential CIL operation - and it certainly increases reserves and mine life for both of those. Reserves are currently 200koz for the heap-leach operation and 1.4Moz for the CIL. How much this might add to reserves & production is anyone's guess at this stage.
You can see why the market might not give this data much value, until the resource estimate is published.
Lots of exciting newsflow to come between now and the end of the year. Fingers crossed it's all positive!
Cheers,
Mark
