Slide 8 shows retail has %5 of shares. Slide 30 references the share buyback program of up to %5 of shares outstanding. I doubt insiders, institutions, other corps. will tender many of their shares while the company is buying - they are long-term holders who expect to benefit from buybacks. So most of the shares will be bought back from retail and it is trending toward %100 ownership by these ...more

I've had a very good history of picking gold stocks.  I started buying in 2008 and every junior I purchased has been bought out except for Roxgold who has traded over 10x initial purchase price.  Even though I didn't make those multiples on my investments (sold many after 20-40% returns)  and some I held onto for too long and had to ride the dip again..ugh.  I've ...more

I have been thinking the same thing , chintz, for a long time, before they announced the share buyback, that with so few retail shares, and seemingly so few shares that are available for trade, that a ,what I call, a 'share squeeze' would happen at some point.  And the driver of that 'squeeze' would be GDX and GDXJ.  Last time I looked GDX held about 10% of EDV.  And ...more

C'mon EDV get to work on the bid.   If you look here: https://www.investegate.co.uk/Index.aspx?searchtype=3&words=edv You will see that Endeavour has indeed been buying back shares most days, recently. UK regs require reporting of buybacks daily. I think the larger tranches bought at 07:15 are in fact brought over from the Canadian market because the quantities bought ...more
