Globe says "smoother sailing" seen ahead for Enerflex

2024-01-17 08:10 ET - In the News

The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Jan. 17, edition that analysts at Acumen Capital have named Enerflex one of their "Dark Horse" stock picks for 2024. The Globe's David Leeder writes that the analysts say Enerflex has "lost a surprising amount of investor conviction" and remains "under the radar" and "could surprise to the upside" this year. The Acumen stockpickers rate Enerflex "buy," with a $12 share target. Analysts on average target the shares at $10.19. The Acumen analysts say in a note: "Strong operational execution and financial performance was overshadowed by revised guidance, CFO turnover, and noise from the continued devaluation of the Argentine peso. Eneeflex was down 28 per cent in 2023. We expect smoother sailing in 2024." The Globe reported on Oct. 5 and Nov. 10 that RBC Capital Markets analyst Keith Mackey was sticking with his "outperform" recommendation. The shares could then be had for $5.68 and $6.09. The Globe reported on Oct. 13 that National Bank analyst Dan Payne rated Enerflex "sector perform." The shares could then be had for $5.83.
