I expect to see this company...to get taken over within 6months, early part of 2012. with the amount of reserves and resource EGU has it is and has attracted the attention of the tier 1s. I agree that either ELD or Centerra would be likely bidder as reported by many, any other suitor will be out of leftfield (NEM, ABX or K) but would likely create a bidding war. but I expect ELD to be the eventual suitor.
In comparison to GBU which has more or less the same market cap as EGU at 2.3.-2.5b EGU is obviously undervalued, while permitting issues are no longer a risk.
