How can anyone recommend that people sell a stock if they do not know how to place a value on the company?They would have used a variety of different metrics in order get some idea of a reasonable value for the company in order for them to determine that the company is either a buy, hold or sell.
What kind of twit wastes his time producing a 19 page report on a company he is unable to guesstimate a reasonable value for the company? Why write a report for the sole purvey of institutional investors when the shares cannot be shorted?
If they have feelings of overwhelming guilt for being involved in the previous PP, they could easily contact the institutions with whom they placed the shares, advise them of any concerns that they might have and recommend that they sell the shares.
