Hate to pour cold water, ELD initiatives were there long before the closure of the mine, i.e water distribution and also they made a road, did not help then. Thought the market will push ELD toward 7.50-8.00 as the news gets near but now think market wants managable risks and high rewards, by keeping ELD about 6.00 the downside is ELD at 4.25 o 4.50 while the upside is 11-12 at current gold price. Kisladag mine means 160,000 oz or 150 million dollars at current price and a pre-tax profit of about 115 million. Think the market is almost 75% inclined to believe that the mine will not re-open soon with some thinking it will not re-open at all.
