Why I am a bi discouraged tonight but i will be ok i guessSorry everyone but tomorrow is another day where one country's early morning data, the US, will seemingly affect the worldwide prices of commodities, markets, currencies and shares in the trillions.
Yessirreee retail sales and CPI will determine trillions of dollar value, yep just .1% off the expectations and the world is suddenly richer by one trillion dollars, or poorer for it.
Is this what the stock market is supposed to be about? What happened to PE ratios and net profit?
HOW did we get to QE and unemployment rates overwhelming markets ? This is when market tops happen ,the rationalization
for owning the tulip bulbs wanders into intellectual hooks, like employment figures that are the heroin of current markets.
This is why I have 30% of my assets in precious metals and oil.These are real things that will go up forcibly because you just cant keep selling below production costs.
In these sectors I choose the best stocks, I also like DPM, but with ELD I underestimated the communists in Greece, I did not think they could really win their case with the IMF watching, I made the mistake after trading for 35 years, of forgetting about all the loose money shorting and manipulating stocks while companies wait for permits. This is like Centerra Gold I made money with but at least they got it resolved. Greece and its European ways of corruption and psychopathy caught me by surprise by the length of time involved.I hope it will end soon....keep posting encouraging news but I feel like a kidnapped victim, tied up by the criminals controlling ELD and for that matter the gold sector. It may be the chinese, they are the ones who may be stabilzing the market while they purchase. They do it with gold.They also buy all the mines in Africa and elsewhere during this time at lower prices. I am starting to believe there is an Asian conspiracy working with the USA to keep the dollar stable, pension fund returns stable, hence the indexes going up. During this time the chinese buy all commodity producing assets and shares at low prices.This is not fun and hope it ends soon with a market crash, a big one.
Then gold will go up like in 2009.
