Yes because there are now 1000's of site and tax authorities cannot monitor all these sites with anonymous users, to start off with, in transactions.
Dont you see it? Its payments under the table- we all participate like paying cash to the roofer when we know we wont get caught. Its being worked on by bitcoin to become easy to sign up and do a transaction in minutes in a new type of currency that may become stable mathematically when more members join. No bank fees or exchange rate robbery. No more being bitten by coyotes with $4 charges at the bank machine.
Underground economy
Even kidnappers are now using bitcoin. Imagine the biker gangs and mafia reading up on cryptos
Transactions in minutes
With banks it takes days where they skim off more interest money and fees.
Bitcoin can soon do transactions in seconds.
Ironic that central banks concentrated on keeping gold in check for this kind of thing.
Here is the good news. This is true,Venezuela is starting its own coin, but this one backed by gold.
Maybe, in a way we win, bitcoin is coming to the rescue of gold.
