Solid State = Holy Grail of batteries
OK Solid State batteries is the holy grail. https://electrovaya.com/press/electrovaya-labs-announces-initial-solid-state-battery-results/ Does look promising and EFLVF is up 15%. The market seems to comprehend how big this is. My guess new investors coming in. People that follow battery tech news. I consider their current ceramic separators to be a solid state battery, they do not catch fire. This is beyond that it would appear. The fact they could do this in a coin cell (watch battery) indicates any size can be done, in other words possible replacement for Tesla batteries. Maybe a big cost advantage? If you are going to get leapfrogged, you want to the leapfrogger. Maybe this means watch and flashlight batteries will use this tech in future? Sure would be safer. I am on a notebook right now. 100% discharge is not an issue, no fires, no fade, likely last way longer better than any lap/notebook batteries ever if the case. Ever hear of cell phones ;-) Maybe wild imagination, but possible. We do not know how big this is yet. BUT seems they like it a lot to release this very early in testing, just 80 cycles. My guess is they think it is big.
If you want to know about EFLVF https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/535947-darp-research/5534083-electrovaya-tesla-of-forklifts-gets-game-changing-raymond-toyota-oem-deal#comments
And yesterday more news: https://electrovaya.com/press/electrovaya-launches-new-cloud-based-battery-analytics-system/ New recurring revenue product.
Cheers
