RE: RE: recent spill isn't so bad, comparably.

The U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration issued a corrective action order this week requiring 12 safety measures, tests and analyses Enbridge must undertake before it can restart the 318,000 barrel a day pipeline.

It shouldn't be long before they go through the 12 safety mesaures/tests/analyses and restart.

As for the Regulators. Good on them. I think it's important to make an example out of the smallest issues, especially when dealing with oil. It helps the company to maintain and improve on  safety-  Which is apparent since the  devastating 2010 spill in Michigan.

Constant criticism will help strengthen the company. That being said, it's in everyone's best interest to get the pipeline up and working as fast as possible. If they stopped piping oil for too long, the U.S will go apesht
