Australia NZ, and Taiwan all closed off international travel in March immediately, which is why it worked (TAIWAN DIDN'T lockdown you dolt, they banned flights) Trump did that and he was called a racist. To resist trump's racism pelosi encouraged people to go "hug a chinese" for chinese new year celebrations. That's why nothing worked in canada/usa. We want to not be racist and have flights open, but we also want lockdowns. The worst of both worlds. We caught on to the fact that the trudeau government doesn't know what they're doing, CDC lying to people about masks, etc.. so once you lose public trust have fun controlling them. The only scientific facts we have is not on lockdowns, but on travel bans. They work. It worked for taiwan and they didn't have to lockdown, so your precious lockdowns you want to cling onto so much have no scientific basis. Cite your sources. You don't know what you're talking about. NZ and Australia are also islands, so once they banned travel I guarantee you if they did what taiwan did they would've been fine. Now they have millions of jobs lost and thousands of businesses gone forever. Save thousands from covid just to kill millions from poverty and suicide.
