Patrick Brown winning the mayoral seat in Brampton has proven he can connect with those in the GTA, and that alone makes him the best candidate to lead the PC's.
Pierre is too far right, and his comments supporting the Trucker Terrorists harmed him, not helped him. If the PC's aren't smart enough to run Patrick Brown in the next election, then they've sealed their fate for another loss.
And I'm not sure how people think Trudeau "stole" the election just because the PC's won the popular vote. Using that analogy, Trump "stole" the election from Hilary, as she actually won the popular vote. It's all about the seats baby, it's all about the seats.
