RE:RE:RE:RE:Big thanks to Sarge and Leo for suggesting ENB under $39OK I ride this guy a lot. Mostly because he slagged me off once for no reason and old grudges die hard.
I would honestly like to know if there is ant benefit in receiving your ENB divy in US funds?
I would think if you are going to keep them in US funds and use them traveling or buying US stocks it might be worthwhile.
If you are converting them back to CAD it seems to me you are just going to get charged a double fee for the currency conversion. Once by for brokerage because ENB pays in CAD and then by your bank to bring it back to CAD.
On the offf chance that you are using the US currency would it not be better to hold a stock that pays a US dividend? There are a handful and I own a couple. There is no brokerage converion fee.
I am correct in assuming that ENB held in US funds converts the divy from CAD to US with a fee right?
