RE:Well i do not usually post on enb board

RE:Well i do not usually post on enb board3M and Boeing have 1/4 to 1/3 of the outstanding shares as ENB which might explain why they trade at higher share prices at similar market caps.

They also are not pipeline or even energy companies so hard to do an apples to apples comparison on them.

Kinder Morgan is the largest pipeline company headquartered in the USA and I believe it is not a DOW component. (also not fairing well as per share price note: its a pipleine company)

Exxon Moblie is the largest energy company headquartered in the USA and I believe it is not a DOW component.

While being headqurterd in the USA is necessary in order to be a DOW component just being a big company by market cap does not get you automatic inclusion.

If ENB headquartered in the USA it might lose a lot of Canadian investors as it probably loses its eligable status for dividend qualification for the dividend tax grant.

I am not sure that ENB can get a higher multiple for their share price by being based in the USA but its a valid discussion point and am curious to hear other views on this point.  Would there be any drawbacks like US/CAD exchange rates?  Also what would be the costs if any?

Go Enbridge! ;-)
