I have been suggesting for monthst that ENB would raise it's dividend to $3.40 which represents 5%.  The only reasons that I expect a 5% increase is that: 1) ENB mgmt does what it says it is going to do 2) the stated range is 5% to 7% 3) with the markets being in turmoil, 5% represents the lowest option if mgmt is to keep its word My friend Fiddy has been making fun of me for my

Q couple of reasons for an increase: 1. Volumes have been restored, 2. Line 3 soon to be approved, An industry friend of mine talked to his TransCanada buds. Feeling there is that KXL is finished. This is positive for ENB.

Not gonna happen as this would shut in twenty percent of us refining capacity. And these are upgraders which cant take light crude. Same reason fracking wont be banned.

Hey Marner Totally agree with you on the 5%. That's my exact prediction as well. As I've also been mentioning, I'm very bullish on ENB. In the midstream space in the order that I like them, here's what my wife & I own: ENB, TRP, PPL, KEY. and IPL. I think all are screaming buys with only IPL being a bit riskier but still top-shelf. Well, if you insist, especially if you're on the edge of your seat.. We're up $165.6k YTD with our big winners being BEP.UN, NPI, GRT.UN, and AQN. And that's why the "paper losses" back in march didn't mean a hill of beans and allowed me to sleep like a baby each and every night.
