Agreed, a delay is not really a factor. Jane Fonda and Co can feel a little empowered. Tunnel is not an if, just a when. Ironically this pause and environmental study will recommend building tunnel asap. Onwards and upwards

Marner, were you expecting this? I wasn't as I thought that all permits were in order. Now beside the business aspect of this development ... I think it's in the best interest of all - USA , Canada and ENB to get this right and get it approved at the highest levels.

Silkos: I wasn't expecting the announcement, but it makes sense. Dilbit continues to flow so the decision doesn't affect ENB's financials. The decision saves face for Whitmer who continues to be under pressure for another botched move. The decision moves a potentially "hot" international issue to the sidelines until the Michigan voters bounce Gretchen out of office ...more
