Four states on the East Coast have declared a state of emergency ahead of a large snowstorm expected to hit Southern and Eastern states Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend.

Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia all declared a state of emergency on Friday in advance of the storm.

 

Winter storm warnings from the National Weather Service (NWS) will remain in effect for multiple states into Monday.

I drove thru South Carolina Sunday morning on my way to Florida.  Power was out, at the Hampton Inn in Columbia where i was staying Saturday night, and they were running on generators.  We got a slight glazing of freezing rain overnight Saturday, but many other areas north of Columbia got hit hard.  Sunny and 18 degrees by the time I arrived in northern Florida Sunday afternoon :)

Well, it must be the news of the year. If Fiddy got out of the house, across the border all the way to Florida, then the pandemic must be almost over. Joking aside, I am sure Fiddy won't miss the one foot of snow we got overnight :) Back to ENB, their pipelines must be running at full capacity. I can't imagine Canadian oil producers not wanting to take full advantage of current oil

I think fiddy is dreaming and sleepwalking to his keyboard again. That guy is so scared of the cootie that he won't leave his basement without 3 face diapers and a biosuit. As for ENB, I don't think they want to make the news for 2022 unless it's about expanding green energy projects.

SILKOS - I was stopped overnight in Morgantown West Virginia Friday.  Went out to grab a bite to eat and ended up walking right out of the restaurant. There must have been 20 or 30 people in the lobby waiting for a table, not a single mask to be seen.  Inside, there were probably 200 people in the restaurant, the wait staff had no masks, the staff at the front door were maskless, and
